BOAT AND MOTOR RENTAL AGREEMENT

WITH CHECKLIST AND RENTAL CONDITION

I certify that I am an experienced operator of outboard motors and boats of _____ foot class. I have operated up to _____ foot boats. I have operated boats with up to _____ horsepower engines. I have operated boats for _____ years. I will not remove any equipment from Monroe County, Florida, and I have familiarized myself with a nautical chart of the area in which the equipment is to be used. Overloading boat, water skiing, towing, operating boat while impaired, possession of contraband and/or Night Operation of the rental boat is strictly forbidden, upon violation of these terms lessee agrees to forfeiture of deposit and loss of possession of the boat. ______ (Initial here)

Florida Statute 327.54: “When the livery has complied with subsections (1), (2), and (3) its liability ceases and a person leasing the boat from the livery is liable for any violations of this chapter and is personally liable for any accident or injury occurring while in charge of such boat.” I have read Florida Statute 327.54. Please do a thorough check of this boat. The renter obliges and endeavours to be responsible for the boat and all amenities for the duration of the rental.
